Marianne Harris

Hey I’m Marianne. Most people I know call me Mar. I take photos. Mostly of noisy bands who have tattoos and who make music I like a lot.

I work for Monster Energy UK as their official music photographer.

I also work for Big Deal Clothing as their photographer, and help organise event sponsorship and liaise with bands.

I live in Dorset in a quiet, close knit town, where most of the people I’ve lived amongst for the last 14 years have little or no idea that I do this.

I’ve had the fortune to have lots of my work published, used in artwork, in magazines, for merchandising, on websites etc. This always makes me smile.

I have a tendency to get upset when people edit and/or publish my work without my knowledge, or take me for granted. Unfortunately both happen frequently.

I wear my heart on my sleeve. And have  emotional attachment to wayy too many people for my own good. 

I think I’m a fairly down to earth person who’s friendly and easy to get on with. With a pinch of spontaneity and unconventionality perhaps.

I’m an avid approver of all things random.

I like meeting new people at shows. Don’t be shy and come say hello!
